The Blue Seedling team are the ultimate talent brand professionals. They were true partners in Feedvisor’s successful entry into the NYC talent market and real contributors to our growth.
Keren Halperin
VP People, Feedvisor

E-commerce intelligence startup Feedvisor closed their Series B round, raising $20M from General Catalyst – a leading US venture capital fund. This milestone accelerated the startup’s rapid growth, but they faced the daunting challenge of hiring dozens of new team members in a brand new office. Blue Seedling revamped Feedvisor’s talent brand, building a new Careers page, a new talent video, partnerships with top 3rd party recruiting sites, and more. The result was a self-sustaining talent engine that helped Feedvisor grow 10x in less than a year.

The Challenge

Feedvisor’s Tel Aviv-based People team was facing the challenge of creating a pipeline of high-quality candidates in the United States, primarily due to low name recognition in the US and very few “boots on the ground” in their new NYC office. Feedvisor turned to Blue Seedling to build talent brand campaigns that would boost Feedvisor’s profile as an employer and build an inbound talent engine.

The Playbook

Blue Seedling drew upon our deep content marketing and talent brand expertise to create:

  • New job descriptions and Careers page copy that spoke directly to an American audience
  • New company blog posts focused on the startups’ culture, perks, and mission — all things that candidates want to hear about
  • Interview series with the startup’s leadership and standout team members
  • A talent brand video produced and shot in both Tel Aviv and New York
  • Animated tutorials to help enliven the employee training and onboarding processes

Blue Seedling also partnered with a number of top US recruiting sites to raise the Feedvisor’s profiles and build a consistent inbound talent pipeline. Blue Seedling built and managed multimedia profiles for the startup on Angellist, The Muse, Indeed, Glassdoor, BuiltinNYC, and more.

The Impact

Feedvisor’s NYC office grew from three team members to 40 in less than a year and achieved a self-sustaining inbound pipeline of high-quality candidates in NYC.

The Bottom Line

A partnership between HR and Marketing can supercharge hiring at fast-growing startups. Blue Seedling’s expertise at running creative, results-oriented campaigns easily translates to talent brand efforts and can help build a talent pipeline from the ground up — especially for Israeli startups looking to build their presence in the US.
