The Blue Seedling team came together in Lisbon for our 2026 all-hands. It was our biggest gathering yet and a great way to start the year together.
We spent the week working, learning, and connecting as a team (and learning a lot of fun tidbits about each other). The goal was simple: align on where we’re headed in 2026 and spend meaningful time together doing the work.

What we focused on
Throughout the week, our time together centered on a few core themes:
- Aligning on priorities and goals for 2026
- Open, honest conversations about our market and client work
- Learning from each other and building new skills
- Hands-on experimentation with AI
- Time to connect as humans, not just faces on a screen
It was a thoughtful mix of structured sessions and open time, focused without feeling overly structured.

Standout moments
A few moments from the week stood out, not because they were flashy, but because they brought the team together in meaningful ways:
- A team-wide AI hackathon that sparked new ideas and great discussions
- Small group working sessions for collaboration and fun
- Big-picture conversations about where Blue Seedling is headed
- Unplanned moments that became favorites: shared meals, long walks (mostly uphill), and conversations that kept going
These are the moments that create shared context and carry forward long after the week ends.

Why it mattered
We left Lisbon with clear priorities, shared context (and some inside jokes), and a renewed sense of momentum heading into 2026. For a global team, that kind of alignment makes everyday work smoother and more effective.
Most of all, the week reinforced the value of taking real time together. Not constantly. Just thoughtfully. It was a strong way to kick off the year, and we’re excited to build on it.
