The Black Hat survival guide nobody asked for: where to get actually good coffee in Las Vegas

You’re heading to Black Hat with very important goals. Big meetings. Big sessions. Pipeline. Brand. All critical, obviously.

But let’s talk about what’s actually important: how to get decently caffeinated in Sin City.

If you’re a coffee snob like me, a good list of third-wave spots isn’t a nice-to-have. It’s oxygen. And here’s the cruel irony of Vegas: a city built to sell you every luxury on earth somehow can’t reliably sell you a good flat white.

But don’t despair. The world’s best marketing team (hi, that’s us) went ahead and mapped the best specialty coffee in Vegas, so you can get properly caffeinated before or after the long days at Mandalay Bay.

And if you’re looking for me, I’m probably at Dandelion.

☕ The Las Vegas Strip

  1. Urth Caffé | 3131 Las Vegas Blvd S, Las Vegas, NV 89109
This place gets pretty busy, for good reason – the coffee’s 👌. They also have a massive food menu and a ton of pastries if you’re looking to grab breakfast or lunch.
  2. District: Donuts. Sliders. Brew | 3708 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109
Originally from New Orleans, they serve up decent specialty coffee alongside huge, scratch-made donuts. It’s a fun spot to hit if you’re wandering around the Cosmo.
  3. Cortadito Coffee House | 3555 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109
Lattes + Cuban coffee (strong & sweet) + good food. Definitely grab a pastelito while you’re at it.
  4. Dandelion Chocolate | 3355 Las Vegas Blvd S #101, Las Vegas, NV 89109
⭐ My personal Sin City favorite. They are technically a high-end chocolate maker from San Francisco, but their coffee bar is top-tier. I load up on over-priced chocolate bars, as well.
  5. Café Cutò | 2777 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109
It’s an upscale Italian-style coffee bar, and they pull a really solid espresso. It’s a great spot if you’re on the north end of the Strip.

🌆 Downtown & The Arts District

  1. Vesta Coffee Roasters | 1114 S Casino Center Blvd #1, Las Vegas, NV 89104
Probably one of the most popular third-wave spots in town. They roast their own beans right there in the Arts District.
  2. Makers & Finders | 1120 S Main St Ste 110, Las Vegas, NV 89104
Right down the street from Vesta, this is a lively Latin café that does solid specialty lattes. It’s more of a sit-down brunch spot, so it’s perfect if you’re hungry for empanadas.
  3. Mothership Coffee – Fergusons Downtown | 1028 E Fremont St Ste B122, Las Vegas, NV 89101
This one is located inside a cool, converted historic motel courtyard on Fremont. Really good coffee with multiple locations in the Vegas metro.
  4. PublicUs | 1126 E Fremont St, Las Vegas, NV 89101
A super popular neighborhood joint with a canteen setup. The baristas really know their stuff, and they do a lot of unique, house-made syrups and seasonal drinks if that’s your thing.
  5. The Writer’s Block | 519 S 6th St Ste 100, Las Vegas, NV 89101
This is a really quirky, independent bookstore that happens to have a fantastic espresso bar inside. It’s easily the coziest spot on the list to grab a coffee and read 📚💙.

That’s the list. Enjoy the map, go get caffeinated, and if I missed a spot you love, tell me – I’m always taking recommendations.
