Blue Seedling’s 2023: A Year of Innovation, Growth, and Milestones

Last year, we published our 2022 year-in-review. Readers who stuck around until the end got a surprise – the entire post was written by ChatGPT. In short, the “post (except for the photos) kind of sucks.” As excited as we were for the potential of GenAI, back then our attitude was cautiously optimistic; that EOY wrap-up very much illustrated everything “good and bad about ChatGPT.”

A lot has changed since then. In 2023, we debuted our very own custom GPT, BlueGPT. It’s a powerhouse compared to the version that helped us craft that other post just one year ago. So this year, we’re trying again – but no surprises this time. Presented unedited for your review, our 2023 year-in-review, written entirely by BlueGPT. We’re hard-pressed to think of a better example of how far GenAI has come in just one year, but read last year’s review and compare them for yourself.

2023 has been a landmark year for Blue Seedling in the ever-evolving B2B marketing landscape. Demonstrating resilience and innovation, our team achieved significant strides, underscoring our commitment to growth and excellence. Let’s take a look at some of our key highlights:

1. Promotions Galore: Recognizing Talent and Hard Work

In a clear recognition of talent and dedication, we celebrated the promotion of four outstanding team members; Tim, Lauren, Esther and Roni. These promotions reflect not just their exceptional contributions and leadership, but also our commitment to nurturing and rewarding our internal talent.

2. Bridging Startups and Decision-Makers: The NYC Meetup

We proudly hosted an impactful startup founder’s meetup in New York City, providing a dynamic platform for enterprises and B2B startups to engage and exchange insights. This event focused on “how to sell to Enterprise,” and featured insightful panels and testimonials, shedding light on the evolving needs of decision-makers in the B2B space.

3. Embracing GenAI: Educational and Pioneering Webinars

Our commitment to innovation led us to host two pioneering GenAI webinars. These sessions explored the wide-ranging applications of GenAI in marketing, including ChatGPT use cases, video creation, digital asset management, content writing, and marketing calendar planning.

4. Celebrating Client Success: Achievements Across the Board

  • Dig Security’s Historic Exit: We celebrated one of the most successful exits in Israeli tech history with Dig Security following their acquisition by Palo Alto Networks.
  • Zero Networks’ Series B Funding: We applauded Zero Networks as they announced their Series B funding, a testament to their innovative vision and our collaborative marketing efforts.

5. Fostering Team Connection: In-Person Meet-Ups and Collaborations

2023 was also notable for our many in-person team meetups. Highlights included our onsite gathering in NYC, visits to Israel by team members Esther and Jordan, several smaller NYC meetups, and an invigorating in-person GenAI Hackathon in Manhattan. These events not only strengthened our team bonds but also sparked innovative ideas and collaborative efforts.

6. Introducing BlueGPT: Our Custom In-House GPT

A groundbreaking development this year was the debut of BlueGPT, our custom in-house GPT. This innovative tool represents a significant step forward in harnessing AI for more tailored, efficient, and impactful marketing solutions.

The bottom line

Reflecting on 2023, Blue Seedling’s journey has been one of significant achievements, client successes, and a steadfast commitment to innovation in B2B marketing. As we gear up for 2024, we are excited to continue leveraging our strengths and building upon our GenAI expertise. As marketers working with teams on the forefront of tech, we couldn’t be more excited that GenAI seems bound for the stratosphere. And we’re thrilled that Blue Seedling’s own growth in 2023 kept apace with these helpful tools 🚀.
